See . . . Crafting

This beautiful little blanket and adorable horse are on their way to my niece, Keara.


And you can see a close up of the lovely quilting in this shot.


I would love to take credit for this cutie little blanket but it wasn't me that put it together and quilted it. I only put the binding on it.

It was, in fact, the thrift store find of the year for 2009. Everything complete, except the binding, my mom found it for a fraction of what the fabric would have cost.

A good wash, a fresh binding, and it's off to a little girl who will love it endlessly.

I know, I know. It's not a lot of crafting but a girl's gotta get her crafting buzz where she can. :)

Hmmm, 500

This is my 500th post.

I thought I would do something to celebrate. In fact, I've been thinking about it for a week now. And in the thinking, I kinda forgot to actually do something. :)

So let's just say, I'm glad to still be here.
